The White Mountains Interpretive Association (WMIA) is a non profit 501(c) 3 member driven organization that promotes and funds historic, scientific, educational, and interpretive programs on the White Mountain National Forest. It is the goal of The White Mountains Interpretive Association to educate and engage visitors with the hope that they will become active stewards of our National Forest, helping to care for and protect New England's treasured spaces.
Since 1985 we have worked to develop new resources and partnerships that create new opportunities, especially through the efforts of volunteers, for conservation, education and recreation that have added value to our White Mountains.
